Q:  Do I have to register online?

A:  Yes.  Registration is only available online.

Q:  After I register can I switch race distances?

A:  You may switch until November 1st or when the event reaches capacity.

Q: What time is the race?

A: The 5K will start at 8am and the 10K will start at 8:25am. Start times are subject to change.

Q:  How old must I be to race?

A: The race is open to all ages.

Q:  Where/When is Packet Pick-up?

  • Monday- November 19th 10:00am to 8:00pm at Running Away Multisport Lincoln Park, 2219 N. Clybourn Ave, Chicago, IL
  • Tuesday- November 20th 9:30am to 6:00pm at Running Away Multisport Deerfield, 800 Waukegan Rd, Deerfield, IL
  • Wednesday- November 21st 9:30am to 6:00pm at Running Away Multisport Deerfield, 800 Waukegan Rd, Deerfield, IL

Q: My name is spelled wrong, age is wrong, etc.

A: No problem! You can go back into your RAM Racing account and update your personal information at any time.  Just log in to your account, click on “my races” and update info.

Q:  I registered and now I won’t be able to participate; can I still pick up my goodie bag?

A: Yes, please stop by packet pick up to collect your bib and goodie bag. No goodie bags will be distributed after the close of packet pick up.

Q: I won’t be able to participate; can I transfer my registration to next year?

A: No, we are sorry but there are no transfers of registration to another person or until next year.

Q:I have a friend who would like to volunteer, can he help?

A: Yes, please click here for more information.

Q: Can a friend or family member pickup my packet?

A: Yes, please send them to packet pick up with written consent.

Q: How do I find my bib number?

A: Your bib number can be found in your race confirmation page and confirmation email. You can always look up your confirmation page by logging back into your RAM Racing account or click here to search by last name.

Q: When should I arrive to the course on race day?

A: It is recommended that all athletes arrive to the vicinity at least 30 minutes before the race and to the start line at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the race.

Q: Are strollers, bicycles, or pets allowed on the course?

A: No. Due to USATF regulations and safety concerns, we cannot allow strollers on the course.

Q: Are any ear buds or headphones allowed on the course?

A: Headphones are allowed.

Q: Are walkers allowed on the course?

A: Yes. As long as they maintain the course time limit of 15 minutes per mile or faster and stage according to pace.

Q: Is there packet pick-up on race day?

A: No.

Q: Can I register on race day?

A: No, there will be no race day registration available.

Q: Are there aid stations and port-o-potties along the course?

A: Aid stations and port-o-johns will be located along the 10k and 5k course.
